Episode Highlights
Focus on members with little or no experience.
These particular people have the highest risk of dropout members.
People with no or little experience require a lot of education and support to help them gain momentum.
4 Steps in strengthening member retention
- 1. Appointment Confirmation as soon as appointment is booked – Having an SMS Reminder sent 24-48 hours before their appointment. Also have a No show or Cancellation Email.
- 2. Seven Day Follow Up – most roadblocks appear anywhere between the 7-14 days period. So it’s best to send follow up emails during this period.
- 3. Include elements of nutrition – provide general advice regarding nutrition. Send them a PDF nutritional guideline that they can use to improve and compliment their training.
- 4. Support Session – be proactive and have an email reminding members that they can book for support session.
